Magic Chess is a strategic auto-battler game that combines tactical planning, hero collection, and magical combat. The game is set in a fantastical world filled with powerful heroes and mysterious forces. Players compete against multiple opponents in a turn-based format. The objective of this game is not to directly dominate the battles, but to win by strategically assembling hero teams, managing resources, and combating all other players.

The game emphasizes intelligence over speed, making it accessible to both casual players and strategy enthusiasts. Each match is unique due to randomized hero availability, varied synergies, and adaptive opponents, ensuring high replay value.

Gameplay

Magic Chess is played in rounds. These rounds go back and forth between two parts: the Preparation Phases and the Combat Phases. In the Preparation Phases Magic Chess players do a things. They buy heroes and place these heroes on the battlefield. When the Combat Phases of Magic Chess start, all the Magic Chess players teams fight against the teams they are supposed to fight. This all happens automatically.

Players start with a small amount of health and gold. Losing battles reduces health, while winning provides rewards and momentum. The game continues until only one player remains, making them the winner.
